How To Work With Us
Pinehurst Neuropsychology is a direct care practice; these are our fees:
Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluation (The Gold Standard) is $1,850 and includes:
- Medical record review
- 1 hour diagnostic clinical interview
- 2–3 hours of neuropsychological testing, test scoring, analysis, and interpretation
- Up to a 1-hour feedback and treatment planning session
- A 30” follow up appointment within 6 months
- Written report sent to you and the care team you decide
Most appropriate for an older adult who is worried about possible brain change.
Our commitment:
You will leave our comprehensive evaluation with the clearest understanding possible of all contributing factors to cognitive change and a personalized care plan for each one. If a cognitive diagnosis is appropriate, we will explain it in clear, compassionate language and outline evidence-based next steps. If your results reflect normal cognitive aging, we will provide a proactive brain health plan to help you maintain your current level of thinking and function.
Neuropsychological Consultation (90 minutes) is $850 and includes:
- Medical record review
- 1 hour diagnostic clinical interview
- No neuropsychological testing
- 30” feedback and treatment planning
- Written report sent to patient and care team you decide
This option is most appropriate for adults who are worried about possible brain change and want expert guidance before deciding on next steps.
Our commitment:
You will leave our consultation with a clearer understanding of your cognitive concerns and a personalized plan for what to do next.
Follow-Up Appointments
A follow-up appointment is a 30 or 55-minute visit that ensures you are supported beyond the testing process. Cognitive health is not a one-day event, and follow-up matters.
During a follow-up appointment, we may:
- Review how you are responding to our treatment recommendations
- Address any new symptoms, concerns, or health changes
- Adjust the care plan based on what is working or not working
- Review changes in medications and their cognitive impact
- Provide new brain health strategies
- Provide support and guidance to you and/or family members
- Provide referrals to trusted specialists or community resources
Follow-up appointments help our patients stay on track, adapt as needed, and feel supported over time. They also allow families and care teams to receive continued medical guidance from a neuropsychologist as needs evolve.
- 30-minute follow-up: $75
- 55-minute follow-up/therapy: $150
To preserve access for families with financial need, we will also reserve two evaluation slots per month on a sliding scale basis (pay what you are able).
